Description
A cold hardy fig with early and tasty fruit! Discovered in Easton, Md (zone 7B) in a very protected location- wind sheltered, sandwiched between two houses. Ripens to purple/brown. Very rare. Would thrive in warmer zones like 8-10. It shows good cold hardiness, but winter protection and a warm, sunny site are always advised in zones 6-7 for figs. Likely Italian in origin. Likely synonymous with ‘Nebo’ fig.
