Reply Matthew Thomas on January 5, 2021 at 4:37 pm So simple and effective. Where do you acquire your 55 gallon buckets, and how do ensure they are safe to use in organic gardening? Thanks! Reply Peaceful Heritage on January 5, 2021 at 7:46 pm Hello, We have a source locally of 55 gallon drums used for packing olives in brine- from a local farm store. They are food grade quality. Also, they are used for things like pickles, juice, and other food products. Search locally on craigslist and rural farm stores. Sometime they have nice screw-on lids. Never use ones that contained oil or chemicals. That’s for bringing this up. Worst case you could use a old bathtub, or make mini batches in 5 gallon food grade buckets. Reply Matthew Thomas on January 7, 2021 at 2:03 pm Thanks for the quick reply, I’ll start searching! Reply Peaceful Heritage on January 7, 2021 at 3:08 pm Please let me know how your experiments with Jivamritam go. Also, I would think metal barrels free of chemical or petro chemical residue would work just fine. Some use cement boxes. You can find more videos on this on youtube, but they are all in India and mostly in Hindi. Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
