Description
NEW!!! A superior and delicious new cultivar, ‘Viola’s Lavender’. This Indiana introduction produces medium sized berries with light lavender coloration. The flavor is what really stands out on this one. Sweet and nutty, just delicious. Non-staining. This cultivar survived our -5 F winter temps in 2022 without issue and has done better than most in our mulberry trials. Morus alba. Shows resilience and lots of potential to be a good backyard mulberry due to slower growth rate – may be a semi-dwarf type. An excellent new addition and must-have if you like white or lavender mulberries. Darren Bender-Beauregard introduction.
