Description

New! Concord type grape with delicious light purple berries that weigh up to seven grams, roughly twice the size of the traditional ‘Concord’. Because the grapes are relatively easy to grow and produce large, flavorful, seedless berries.  Should become popular with home gardeners as well as professional growers.

The large, productive vines of Everest Seedless™ (NY98.0228.02) ripen early to mid-season, and are well adapted to the Northeast, with good cold tolerance and moderate disease resistance. Bred by Cornell’s Bruce Reisch, professor of grapevine breeding and genetics in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

CANNOT SHIP TO CA, WA, OR, ID.

Uses: Excellent fresh eating, juicing.

Pollination: Grapes do not need pollination in order to set full crops.

Resistant to: Some resistance to fruit rots and black rot.

Plant Size: 1 YR, approximately 1-2′ bare-root vines with excellent root systems.
