Description
An heirloom June apple found throughout KY and surrounding areas still to this day. Was more common in the past as a favorite backyard apple tree. The large yellow-green fruit ripens extremely early in June-July. It is quite sweet-tart and the flesh gets softer as it ripens. A favorite for early apples, cooking, and applesauce.
All of our apple trees are FIELD-GROWN for high-quality and have excellent, robust, natural root systems.
Uses: Fresh eating, apple sauce, cooking
Resistant to: Some resistance to Cedar Apple Rust, scab. Disease resistance is moderate.
Ripening: Very early (mid-June or so).
