A delicious new cultivar, 'Viola's Lavender' produces medium sized berries with light lavender coloration. The flavor is what really stands out on this one. Sweet and nutty, just delicious. Non-staining. This cultivar survived our -5 F winter temps in 2022 without issue and has done better than most in our mulberry trials. Morus alba. Shows resilience and lots of potential to be a good backyard mulberry due to slower growth rate - may be a semi-dwarf type. An excellent new addition and must-have if you like white or lavender mulberries. Darren Bender-Beauregard introduction from Indiana.
