Edible leaves taste somewhat like arugula (some say popcorn flavored with garlic). This unusual Asian plant produces a multi-stemmed shrub with lacy foliage best eaten when small and young. Very cold hardy to at least -10 F. Grows fast and is pest and problem free. An interesting permaculture plant or for those wanting edible foliage, problem-free plants, and like some Asian flair in the garden! Grows tall, at least 15', can be pruned/coppiced to any size.
