A new superior black raspberry cultivar with zero thorns! Called Shekinah 'Tahi', it offers large, luscious berries with great flavor and a stunning deep black color. The berries grow in tight clusters, making them slightly challenging to pick. This is the first totally thornless black raspberry, which makes for easier harvesting and pruning.
Black raspberries are one of the earliest fruits of the season, ripening in early-mid June (in KY), coinciding with mulberries and early blackberries. Black raspberries have over 3x the antioxidant power of blueberries!
