Also know as as Marseilles/ Oregon Prolific / Marseilles Yellow. This yellow skinned, squat shaped fig has a very sweet amber pulp. An excellent honey fig. Good for marginal fig growing regions, and tends to harden off it's wood well. Productive and easy to grow.
NATURALLY GROWN - no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, neo-nictinoids, or other pesticides or toxic ag chemicals used at our nursery
Resistant to: Figs are remarkably free of disease and insects. Resistant to fig rust (fungus), rotting and wet weather.
Site Selection: Well-drained soil. Needs a warm, sunny, protected location like a south side of building, or in warmer zones like 8-9 a full sun location.
Pollination:This fig requires no pollination in order to set fruit.
USDA Zone:7b-9. Worth trial in zone 6 with some winter protection.
Plant Size:CHOOSE SIZE. Bare-Root shipped February-April. May-October shipped potted in special tree pots.USDA Zones 8 -10
