Delicious, tangy, flavor with tropical and spice notes! Superior cultivar from the Savannah Institute in WI. Easy to grow small bush produces clusters of medium-sized, flavorful currants on this more spreading currant bush. Aromatic and flavorful, with tropical and spice like notes and slight tang. Yields up to 5.5 lbs of berries per bush. Field grown, large healthy root systems. Cold-hardy. Ripens in July or August. Self-pollinating. From the McGinnis breeding work.

Uses: Fresh eating, juice, excellent jams, wine.
Disease Resistance: Strong resistance to White Pine Blister Rust, Powdery Mildew. May be susceptible to cane dieback in some areas.
Pollination: Self-pollinating
Site Requirements: Well-drained, rich soil. Full sun in northern locations, partial shade or 1/2 day full sun in southern locations. Not for intensely hot summer areas or Deep South growing. Does well in Midwest, PNW, and Northern areas.

Conventionally Grown with zero herbicides.
