Check out this heirloom "R.W. Munson" Heirloom from 1886. (Big Berry x Triumph). Growth strong, perfectly healthy; clusters medium to large, cylindrical, often shouldered, berries, when well grown, medium to large, globular, black without bloom; skin never cracks; pulp tender, juicy and of very good quality, better than Concord or Beacon. Ripe just before Concord. Gives good satisfaction on market. Concord and Brilliant good pollinators for it. Ships well. Plant 10 to 12 feet apart. A. M. Bowman, of Salem, VA., after fruiting this variety, pronounces it the best American grape in vine and fruit. Perfect flower. Extremely disease resistant. This grape is part of a new series of extremely disease resistant “Munson” grapes we are offering for those needing to grow organic grapes without chemicals. Check these Munson grapes out!
