Large, sweet, very long mulberries on this prolific exotic mulberry variety! The fruit are substantially longer than most other cultivars. Sometimes they reach 3-5 inches long! Production is heavy and the flavor is sweet and delicious. Very fast growing and easy to grow, where appropriate.
'Pakistan' mulberry is best suited to warmer climates with little to no late freezes. It buds very rapidly with the onset of warm temperatures, meaning that regions that experience winter warmups or late freezes will be unsuitable to grow this mulberry. This includes a lot of the Mid Atlantic, including Kentucky. In these regions it will bud rapidly too early in the season and will not fruit, or fruit poorly.

Uses: Fresh eating, dehydrating, and good for jams and cooking also.
Resistant to: Mulberries are remarkably free of disease and insects.
Site Selection: Well-drained soil and full sun.
Pollination:This mulberry requires no pollination in order to set fruit.
Plant size: CHOOSE SIZE. Plants are shipped without pots from Feb-May, bare-rooted when necessary. Grown in 9-Inch tree pots.
