Excellent southern variety with large black berries, excellent flavor and heavy production. Superior wild seedling discovered by Robert Hamilton of Georgia (USA). Should perform very well in the South. Has done well in our Kentucky trials. Shows resistance to popcorn disease, a fungal disease of mulberries common in the South. This one is a winner! Cold hardy to zone 6. Morus alba.
Mulberries grow very fast under good conditions and even the small size should be bearing fruit within a few seasons. Our mulberries are all high quality, cuttings-propagated.
NATURALLY GROWN - no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, neo-nictinoids, or other pesticides or toxic ag chemicals used at our nursery
Uses:Perfect for fresh eating, jams, wines.
Resistant to: Winter cold, popcorn disease.
Pollination: Mulberries need no pollination to set fruit.
Plant Size: CHOOSE SIZE. Bare-Root February-April, Shipped in tree pots from May-October.
