The ideal bush cherry for backyard growing! Produces a real, full-size SWEET cherry with excellent fresh eating quality. We say 'real' because there have been other bush cherries available over the years that produce small 'cherry-like' fruit unlike your typical, large, tasty cherries. This Canadian developed bush stays small and bush form, but produces full size cherries. Choose 'Romeo' and/or 'Carmine Jewel' for the necessary cross pollination (or buy our Romance Cherry 3 pack). This is not a plant for very hot summer, southern climates.
Possibly the sweetest bush cherry, 'Juliet' bears large crops of standard sized cherries.
Over 50 years of breeding by Dr. Les Kerr have combined cold hardiness, dwarf stature and good fruit quality into the final product. The cherry releases by the University of Saskatchewan are a great tasting cherry with high sugar content. They also have very good potential for mechanical harvesting which is necessary for commercial fruit production.

Plant Size: 1-3 Ft tall potted starts in 9-inch tree pots. High quality, field-grown plants - see photos showing the robust root systems and healthy top growth.
Pollination: Any other 'Romance Series' bush cherry we sell.
Sun Exposure: Full sun is best.
Planting Site: Well drained, avoid low-lying frost pockets and poor drainage.
Mature Size: 8-10' Tall and Wide.
