Pollination: Provided effectively in this collection
Disease Resistance: Poor airflow can lead to mildew on the leaves. Lack of irrigation or moisture leads to early defoliation and dormancy each summer.
Ripening: Mid-May or early June most areas. Early and Mid-Season Blooms.
Uses: Excellent fresh eating, great for freezing, jams, pie, etc. Makes delicious fruit leather and juice as well. Honeyberry is a must have homesteader's berry bush where it will grow.
Planting Site: Well-drained, rich soil, with full sun in northern locations and partial sun or 1/2 day sun in the Southeast and warmer, sunnier areas.
