An exciting new variety with excellent flavor and built in strong resistance to disease, making this one tastier and superior for organic growing!
Well suited for growing in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern regions. Performs well on plasticulture as well as matted row. 'Flavorfest' has shown consistent high yields, larger berry, bright red and excellent flavor. Also shows good resistance to red steele and most stem and leaf diseases as well as near immunity to anthracnose crown or fruit rot.  Good variety for market growers.


RECOMMENDED FOR ORGANIC GROWING

Disease Resistance:  Resistant to common strawberry diseases such as red stele, very resistant to anthracnose and fruit rot.

Ripening:Mid season (May-Early June most areas)

Uses:Fantastic fresh eating, great for freezing, jams, pies, etc.
