Climax is an heirloom Rabbiteye blueberry variety that has proven it's great qualities and stood the test of time. Vigorous, upright growth and heavy production of very tasty plump berries. Early ripening, large, firm-fleshed with a spicy, sweet flavor. Has a very concentrated ripening period (meaning most of the berries ripen close to the same time), and a dry scar when picked, making it an excellent variety for marketing and freezing. Fruit ripens early May-mid June depending on location. 400-450 chill hours. For planting in zone 7-9, Southern areas only. CANNOT SHIP TO CA, WA, OR.
