An extra early ripening, very cold hardy, delicious French fig.  Top notch flavor and quality!  Greenish-yellow skin at ripening with reddish interior with 'berry' flavored flesh.  Reports of large, mature trees surviving - 4 F without damage (your experience may vary).  Smaller trees obviously will not be that cold hardy. Ripens around the same time as 'Malta Black' and 'LSU Celeste'.  The fruit is said to handle moisture better than most.  Very productive and resilient variety, should be more popular.

NATURALLY GROWN – no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, neo-nictinoids, or other pesticides or toxic ag chemicals used at our nursery

Uses:Makes an excellent dried fig. Also top-notch fresh eating, good for jams and cooking also.

Resistant to: Figs are remarkably free of disease and insects.  This fig shows good resistance to cold and humidity/rain.

Site Selection: Well-drained soil. Full sun location.

Pollination:This fig requires no pollination in order to set fruit.

Plant Size:CHOOSE SIZE. Bare-Root shipped February-April. May-October shipped potted in special tree pots.

USDA Zones 8-10

OUR NURSERY IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN 100% FIG BUD MITE FREE.
