Delicious berry flavor and unique banana-like berry shape (not flavor!) A highly productive and delicious honeyberry.   Ancestry is Russian. 
RECOMMENDED FOR ORGANIC GROWING

Pollination:  Early-Mid Season blooming.  Pollinated by other early-mid bloom honeyberries.  Requires about 1000-1200 chill hours.

Disease Resistance:  Unknown.  Poor airflow can lead to mildew on the leaves.  Too much wind can dislodge berries on this cultivar.

Ripening: Mid-May or early June most areas.

Uses: Excellent fresh eating, great for freezing, jams, pies, etc.  Makes great fruit leather, and a favorite of children.

Planting Site: Well-drained, rich soil, with full sun in northern locations and partial sun or 1/2 day sun in the Southeast. 

Plant Size:  1-2' tall Start in 9 inch tree pot.
