Methley is a heavy producing, excellent quality sweet plum that has been a standard heirloom backyard tree for a very long time. 'Methley' produces fruit that is medium to large and has purplish skin with soft amber tinged flesh. This plum tree has excellent, classic quality and is great to plant for fresh eating or jelly. The Methley plum tree is an early bloomer that crops heavily and ripens fruit in early June.
