Beautiful, tender, delicious amber-yellow flesh overlaid with a red skin adorns this disease-resistant, hardy plum variety. Fruit quality is excellent, with very sweet and firm flesh and gets the highest ratings from Alabama University for both. Ripens about 1 week before “Methley” plum. High yields and reliable producer, according to University of Alabama research. Tree longevity is very good, these trees are hardy and resilient. An improved version of “Methley” with all-around better performance. This is a very desirable plum variety. More prone to black knot than the other AU series plums. CANNOT SHIP TO CA, WA, OR.
