Heirloom persimmon has exceptional size, flavor and production. First-class, Very nice! Very consistent producer of large, half-dollar sized plump fruits, very sweet, smooth, with no astringency once ripe. Seedless if no male trees are present. The tree is naturally semi-dwarf and umbrella-shaped, making harvest easy. Very productive. All around a high quality and superior persimmon reportedly developed by famous plant breeder, the late Luther Burbank. “Keener” cultivar. Most likely a cross between Asian/American persimmon but is very cold hardy and productive. CANNOT SHIP TO AZ, CA.
