Description
Heavy production of large, sweet-tart, circular shaped gooseberries on a large upright bush! Fruit ripens to pink-purple when ripe in June-July. ‘Invicta’ gooseberry has good flavor and solid, heavy production of berries. Extremely cold hardy to zone 3. This newer release has performed extremely well on our farm in KY, annually producing copious yields despite late freezes and frosts even during bloom. Great for making jams. Low production of thorns on this gooseberry.
