Ripening to a nice red, this plump gooseberry is sweet-tangy, productive and high quality. We’ve been impressed with our trials of this gooseberry and think it is highly worth growing. Forms a small, bushy shrub about 2-3′ tall and wide. Disease, frost, and insect resistant, trouble free. High quality tangy berries have been compared favorably by a friend to “Sour Patch Kids” candy! Very delicious and could be used in many processed goods. Easy to grow. Very cold hardy, will succeed in far northern areas. Hardy and resilient to many adverse conditions. Nearly free of thorns. CANNOT SHIP TO MA, ME, NC.
