Description
Adriatic JH fig is a cold hardy, firm, green skinned fig with rich, tangy and flavorful red strawberry pulp. Quite resilient and popular in colder regions. Also does well in TX (where it was discovered) and in drier, southern regions. Nearly identical to, yet very slightly different from ‘Green Ischia’.
Sorry, we cannot ship POTTED FIGS (May-September) to: CA, TX, AZ, NM, NV, OR. We can ship DORMANT fig trees to these states bare-root when ordered in October-April (as available). Bare-root shipping to CA, TX, AZ, NM, NV, OR happens in mid-February-April.

Uses: Fresh eating, good for jams and cooking also.
Resistant to: Figs are remarkably free of disease and insects. Resistant to birds and also fig rust (fungus).
Site Selection: Well-drained soil. Needs a warm, sunny, protected location like a south side of building, or in warmr zones like 8-9 a full sun location.
Pollination: This fig requires no pollination in order to set fruit.
Plant Size: CHOOSE SIZE. Bare-Root shipped February-April. May-October shipped potted in special tree pots.
