Juicy, bright, pear-like flavor on this early yellow fig. Large yellow figs ripen very early at the end of July/early August on previous seasons growth. Very productive. The plant slows it’s growth into autumn and “hardens off” well and turns woody. Starts ripening a few weeks before Chicago Hardy and ends its production before Chicago Hardy does. Also called Oregon Prolific, Marseilles, Hollier and St. Anthony Fig.
