A delicious fig with green skin and rich red strawberry pulp. A newer Louisiana State University breeding program release. It has done well in Louisiana and the Deep South with its extremely hot and humid climate- ideal fig for the Deep South and very humid areas. Disease resistant and superior quality fruit.

Sorry, we cannot ship POTTED FIGS (May-September) to: CA, TX, AZ, NM, NV, OR. We can ship DORMANT fig trees to these states bare-root when ordered in October-April (as available). Bare-root shipping to CA, TX, AZ, NM, NV, OR happens in mid-February-April.
Uses: Fresh eating, good for jams and cooking also.
Resistant to: Figs are remarkably free of disease and insects. Resistant to birds and also fig rust (fungus), humidity, and rot.
Site Selection: Well-drained soil. Needs a warm, sunny, protected location like a south side of building, or in warmer zones like 8-9 a full sun location.
Pollination: This fig requires no pollination in order to set fruit.
Plant Size: CHOOSE SIZE. Bare-Root shipped February-April. May-October shipped potted in special tree pots.
