Early ripening, exceptionally sweet and crisp, juicy pears. Medium-small size, with yellow-bronze skin. Excellent quality, up to 15% sugar! Not a keeping pear but lasts about 6 weeks. Excellent home or market pear. An excellent addition to any pear collection or orchard. Does better up north in cooler summer areas such as Pennsylvania than other Asian pears.  Premium quality trees.  CANNOT SHIP TO CA.

Recommended for ORGANIC GROWING

Uses: Fresh dessert eating, juice, drying.

Ripens:  Early season, around late July-mid-August depending on area.

Resistant to: Fireblight

Pollination: Partly Self-pollinating, but better with Kieffer, Moonglow, Bosc, Asian Pears or Bradford ornamental pear.  NOT POLLINATED BY NIITAKA PEAR.
